This first introductory ‘Learning Outside the Classroom’ module provides an overview of the Lessons from Nature project, a foundation on which understanding will be built. The activities are focussed on three key insights from Nature (Waste equals Food, Diversity gives Strength and Multiple Benefits) and how they can be applied to real-world issues such as product design.

The introductory module can be integrated into several curriculum areas including Science, Design and Technology, Geography and Business Studies.
